This is a community-oriented research project. There are many ways to be involved.

  • Be part of our research project during the bienniel archaeological field school. This opportunity is open to anyone with a personal connection to Amache

  • Help us conduct archaeological and archival research with a range of project at the site and remotely

  • Every other year we hold a 4 week archaeological field school at Amache. This is a chance for students to learn archaeological and museological skills

Citizen Science Projects

  • Amache Trees

    This is a citizen science project where you can map historic trees on the site using an app on your smart phone

  • Volunteer

    Members of the Amache community can volunteer to be a part of our field school.

  • Be a Student

    We run an archaeological field school that students can register for.
